If a US entity in the data path is fine for you, GitHub is a good choice. Your repositories are standard Git, and the organization export restores into stock Forgejo, so nothing you store here needs us to be read. If we ever end the service you get at least 90 days' written notice and 30 more days to retrieve your data. Backups go to a second provider every day and a restore is tested every week. No: agents authenticate as you and use your seat, no extra charge. A dedicated bot or machine account counts as a seat like any other.
