Codebahn is a managed Git hosting service. All repositories are private and only accessible to account holders who have been granted access. If you believe content hosted on Codebahn is illegal under EU or Swedish law, or violates our Terms of Service, you can report it using the process below.

How to report

Send an email to abuse@codebahn.net with the following information:

What happens next

We review every report. Here is what to expect:

  1. Acknowledgement. We confirm receipt within two business days.
  2. Review. We assess the report and, where needed, inspect the reported content. We may ask you for additional information.
  3. Decision. We decide whether to remove or restrict the content, take no action, or escalate to authorities. We aim to reach a decision without undue delay.
  4. Notification. We notify both the reporter and the affected account holder of our decision, with reasons. Either party may reply to contest the decision.

If a report concerns content that poses an immediate risk (for example, active malware distribution), we may restrict access before completing the full review and notify the account holder afterward.

Law enforcement and regulatory authorities

Authorities can reach us at legal@codebahn.net, which serves as our single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation 2022/2065). We respond to lawful requests from EU member state authorities and Swedish law enforcement.

We require requests to be in writing, identify the legal basis, and specify the content or data at issue. We do not comply with informal or bulk requests. Emergency requests (imminent threat to life or safety) are prioritized.
